Recornea received a grant from the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia
06 March 2026This grant will support key activities aimed at the full validation of the GROSSO ® Reshaper, including clinical protocol refinement, production optimization, regulatory compliance, and the execution of multi-center clinical trials.

These efforts will generate solid and comprehensive clinical evidence to support the future large-scale deployment of the device, contributing to the clinical data package required for CE certification and enabling rapid access to international markets such as India and the broader Asian region, where disease incidence is approximately 10 times higher than in Europe or the US.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with local Indian companies within our network, providing CRO services for the management of clinical trials in India and regulatory support. Clinical activities will be conducted at two leading Indian ophthalmology centers: Narayana Nethralya in Bangalore and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
