First patient treated with the GROSSO® implant as part of the First In Human clinical trial

Working with the Institute of Ocular Micro Surgery (IMO) in Barcelona, Spain, we achieved a very monumental milestone in the First In Human clinical trial.

On October 9, 2024, we treated the first patient with the GROSSO® implant and the surgery was conducted at IMO performed by Prof. Jose Güell, the principal investigator of the FIH.
Initial evaluations showed that the GROSSO implant is well tolerated in the cornea.
